Oliver Update - Weeks 10, 11 and 12

Image
Remember how I once said, " If you need something done, give it to a busy person "? Well.  I was wrong.  And now I'm 3 weeks behind and life is crazy. First, Oliver's chair pictures: There is something about 12 weeks.  Like it's the turning point from "infancy" to "baby-dom".  In other words...I feel like he's not really an infant any more!  So, here's the question - how long do I continue the weekly pictures?  And the even bigger question - Where is his sock?! In 3 weeks I honestly don't feel like he looks that different, but he is changing every day. First you will notice that Oliver continues to display his overly serious personality.  I swear...I would LOVE to know what he's thinking.  He's just so serious! Even when his big sister is putting bows on his head.   I mean, geez Oliver...don't crack a smile! But sometimes we bust him.  It starts with his eyes and travels to his lips - that...

Halloween...part 2

I'm not sure if it's because Halloween fell on a Friday this year, but I feel like we were celebrating for a long, long time.  So here it is...our Halloween conclusion. Today was the day.  Today I went back to work.  And...of course...I don't remember it being like this with Eleanor.  My alarm went off at 5:00 AM.  Surprisingly enough, it wasn't impossible to get out of bed and I only hit the snooze alarm once! I went downstairs to pump - As little man has been sleeping well at night, I have lots of milk in the morning that I have continued to pump to build that wonderful storage.  I made sure not to pump it all, because I wanted to nurse Oliver before we left for daycare.  I made some coffee and headed up to shower. I realized I had given myself plenty of time and enjoyed getting ready leisurely.  About 6:15 Eleanor woke up (she gracefully JUMPS out of bed in the morning...oh to be able to great the dawn with such excitement!) and I intercepted her before she headed downstairs for her morning routine of watching cartoons.  I pulled her into bed and tried to cuddle for a few minutes before she determine...
