Happy Birthday, Dad! Happy Birthday, Andy!

Tuesday was Andy's 36th Birthday. 
Bwahahaha - what is funnier?
That Andy is 36 or that I just blogged that for "all the world to see"?
(which is also funny because I think I'm back to like 1 follower of my little old blog!)

Anywho....I LOVE birthdays. They are a huge deal to me.
To Andy - not so much.
But that doesn't mean that Eleanor and I aren't going to make huge deal of Andy's birthday!  He's our Andy and he deserves it.

Friday we went out to dinner and celebrated.  But Tuesday night we decided to stay in and have a low-key family night. 

BUT...it was our first birthday together since the wedding.  And well...being newlyweds and all....I wanted to spice things up.  I wanted to get something a little naughty for Andy.

Maybe even a little "slutty". 

Don't be offended.  Let me introduce to you...The Slutty Brownie. 
So easy...and ooooohhhhh, so naughty!  And this little recipe is aaaalllll over Pinterest. 

Step 1: Whip up a batch of cookie dough and press into a 9x13 pan.

 Step 2:  Did somebody say O-R-E-O?  Sure - why not....add those too!

 Step 3:  Brownie Mix - I mean...SOMETHING has to fill in all that empty space created by the Oreos.

 Step 4: Bake a 350 for 40 minutes.  But...just a little tip - Don't stick the candles in the brownies until they are cool.  The candles literally were melting from both ends - hence the green wax addition to the brownies.  That's not part of the recipe. 

 Step 5:  OMG - Enjoy!  Don't think.  Just enjoy!  Look at that naughty little thing!

Step 6:  Green leafy vegetables.  Lots of green leafy vegetables after this.  Because trust me....my brownie was that size. And it wasn't just one!

Happy Birthday, Andy!  I still laugh when I think about what your birthday was like 2 years ago.  Before you got introduced to not 1, but 2 ladies that were going to change your life forever!  Can't wait to celebrate with you for many (many, many) more years to come.
