Pre-g-g-o!

Have I ever told you how much I love being pregnant?
I mean, don't get me wrong, I complain about it, but overall - I really, really love it.

And I'm pretty much certainly convinced that this is going to be my last pregnancy, so I'm trying to enjoy every last minute of it.  The beginning was really tough for me.  As this is my second pregnancy, I was so used to being HUGE.  That is what pregnancy was for me.  Baby kicks.  A big round belly.

8 weeks pregnant?  What was that?  That was weeks of no caffeine and no wine.  That's not pregnancy...that's just torture :)

Slowly but surely the baby grew and I started entering the phase of pregnancy that I LOVE.
I LOVE feeling him kick.  I LOVE feeling him move.  I love that every minute of my day is just me and my boy.

I mean, seriously, I don't love that he uses my diaphragm as a trampoline.  The fact that I can already feel my back giving out and carpel tunnel is starting to really kick in.  I'm exhausted all the time and while I wanted to run through at least July 4, I stopped running pretty early in the pregnancy.

It's been VERY hard for me to gain weight.  Not hard, like, I'm not gaining weight. Hard, like, mentally hard.  I'm making WAY better food choices this pregnancy and I'm WAY more active.  Between walking, yoga and aqua zumba, I get a good work out 3 - 4 times a week...and still, the weight is just jumping on.  And I'm ALWAYS hungry.  Fruits.  Good Fats.  I eat them all and still - always hungry.  So I gravitate to the crap like ice cream and chocolate.  And SALT!  God I love salt this pregnancy!  Salted caramel to be exact!  And lunch meat.  It's so bad for pregnant women, but I heat it up to steaming, throw it on a hard roll and load on the pickles!  Mmmmmm.  I want one now.
It's going to suck trying to lose this weight after the baby is born...but I'm just trying not to think about it right now.  My only focus is growing a health baby boy.  And try to walk around the office once before reaching for my 40th snack of the day.   OK - enough talk about weight.

Overall, this pregnancy has been just as great as my pregnancy with Eleanor.  I'm loving it.  And while I want to meet our baby boy and have him join our family - I'm just trying to enjoy our time alone together.

I'm really ticked that I'm facing the opposite way in this round of pictures...but I think you still get a good comparison...I'm WAY bigger this time around.  And yet - at this point in the pregnancy, I've gained less weight.  OMG - Is this kid going to be huge??

27 weeks pregnant.  Officially my last trimester.  I can't tell if time is going by fast...or slow?  13 weeks to go....Boy oh Boy!
