Guest Blogging - Moms Make it Work Series
I know...I know...you want to know about the move!
But I can't even find my adapter to upload pictures of the move to my computer! This week - I promise!
In the meantime...let me share a little something with you.
I've never "Guest Blogged" before; however, my friend Erika over at Midwest Family Life guest blogged for Julia over at My Life in Transition. A little series that Julia calls "Moms Make It Work". It's this amazing feature where guest moms blog about what they do and how they....make it work! Some moms work, some don't, some have 1 kid, some have 10. But it's just this great series about how not matter what you do...it's what YOU do. So stop judging other moms and let's start supporting each other more!
Then I saw that Julia (who is also pregnant) was looking for MORE moms. MORE guest bloggers. A "casting call" per se. And something inside of me made me feel compelled to reach out.
I don't think I've done anything that anyone else couldn't do. And people have suffered far worse than I have. But what if....what if Julia had 1...just 1 mom out there that suffered loss and felt like there was no tomorrow. What if someone else was struggling on their own.
On February 23 I woke up and I felt lost. And empty. But I knew. I KNEW I had to get up. I had a life to live. And now, not only was I living my life for me...I was living life for Nic too. And Nic would NEVER give up. I owed it to him. I owed it to Eleanor. I owed it to me.
So what if I shared that story...how you can love, lose and love. Love yourself. Love your kiddo. And dare I say, Love another spouse!
So I did it. I wrote. And she shared....
