Bach Baby Shower #2

Yesterday was our baby shower for little Baby Boy Bach!
Hosted by my sisters-in-law and mother-in-law.
They were able take the "Vintage Baseball" theme to the 10s!  I mean - just check out some of these details.

Instead of a guest book - our guests signed these baseballs that can now decorate Baby Bach's bedroom.

And my FAVORITE part of the shower was the adorable goody table.  I couldn't take enough pictures of every little detail!

There were Hershey kisses on all the tables with little "Baby Boy" stickers on the bottom.  Lucky for me...Eleanor thought they were great too - so every time she ate a Hershey Kiss, she put the sticker on her dress...it served as a great tracker for how many Hershey Kisses she ate...There were MANY more stickers on her dress by the end of the shower!

This little details I originally over looked...but Baby Shower Games Be Gone!  Guests were encouraged to write a name suggestion for Baby Bach.  People seem to be very concerned that this child doesn't have a name.  Well...just like it takes 40 weeks to make a baby...and I have determined that it takes 40 weeks to make a name too!  We got some good suggestions...others...not so good :-)
And the gifts were abundant and adorable!  Baby B really is going to be the best dressed kiddo.  It's so much fun to think of our baby in all these clothes!  Eleanor really gets into it too!   She has to hug each outfit and give a nice "Awwwww"!

The kiddos kept getting closer and closer while opening presents and by the end of the shower I was in a kiddo hurricane!  Several of them had hands on my belly, trying to feel the baby, asking questions and watching him move.  It was pretty cute to watch...but even more interesting to see Eleanor wiggle right to the front, lay her body over my belly and start saying things like, "This is MY baby brother" "Don't poke MY baby brother" and smothering my belly in kisses and belly rubs.  Hmmmm, think this little girl is already protective of her baby brother?  She's going to give people like Jolene, Gina, Heather, Sara, and Melissa a run for their money when it comes to protecting baby brothers (I know how much my sister-in-laws adore, protect and love their baby brothers!)  Good thing we are going to sibling class on Tuesday...there is a fine line between love and snuggles and smothering!
Always time for some family picture too!  Love that these ladies were able to celebrate Baby B with me!
And even more blessed that my aunts - and Mom #2 were able to join us as well!
And the fabulous hostesses of the shower!  DANG...those ladies make me look tall! :-)

And one little picture of the Thank You gifts I made for our hostess....Of course - pregnancy brain over here forgot to take a picture of the INSIDE contents.  Doh!  Oh well.

Thanks everyone!!  It was a GREAT shower!  I can't believe it's over...now we have to get some laundry done and put away all these great gifts...because NEXT Saturday....We are going to do it again!
