How Suite It Is!
I'm just not doing good with blogging right now.
OK, I seldom do good with blogging. But I have like 3 posts started and then I never finish them!
Have I ever mentioned how I just feel like a blog post isn't a blog post without pictures? So if I don't upload the pictures, I think I can't post the blog.
Oh the agony!
Well, we've always known the blog is mostly for me...so...at least I can get this one in the books!
On Sunday, our friend Z had his company's suite for the Brewer's game and he invited a few of his friends to tag along.
This group, man. They are amazing. And we don't all get together nearly enough! Darn kids!
But if you are going to watch a Brewer's game, then a Suite is the only way to do it!
The minute we walked into the Suite we were greeted by two tables full of food. And food is one of Oliver's favorite things! So he indulged in some cheese, strawberries and *gasp* chicken tenders...one of Oliver's first tastes of friend food. Of course...he liked it! 1 point - Brewer's Suite!
It was SO nice to be able to just let Oliver kind of crawl around during the game and not feel like we were needing to contain him in a seat the entire time.
Occasionally Eleanor would leave with one adult or another and come back with some type of treasure or adventurous story. Face-painting, balloons...life is just better in the Suite!
And had I chosen to watch any of the game...the view wouldn't have been half bad either.
I mean, it wasn't all my fault that I didn't watch any of the game...Oliver napped for about 30 minutes of the game. Another win for the Suite? A private bathroom. I went in there with Oliver, let the water run, turned off the lights and bounced. It took him a minute, but he finally fell asleep!
The kids didn't really watch the game either...but who cares! They were entertained and confined and all was good. Oh, just another point for the Suite!
But you know what DOES warrant a point for the Suite? The dessert cart! The magical cart that appears and you can order anything you want from it! Cleanse be damned...I was going to have a brownie. I failed to get a picture of Eleanor's GIANT caramel apple that she eventually ate all!
Great friends to help entertain your kids also do not come with the Suite...find your own amazing friends!
This good looking family also does not come with the Suite...but because they are so good looking, I think we should just give a point to the Suite!
Another reason why watching a Brewer's game from the Suite is the only way to do it...Beer. A fridge full of several varieties of beer. Calm down...this beer hadn't been opened yet and I'm sure it felt amazing on my little guy's gums (which, FYI, I'm FAIRLY confident we have tooth #1 starting to poke out...I'll keep you posted!)
All in All it was a great day. I committed to grabbing a group picture and of course it didn't happen...but I did have my big camera and I did do a good job practicing. Don't ask me about the game though...because I have NO idea what happened!
Thanks, again, Z for a great day!!
